Old fashioned milkmen still delivering milk? Who does that?
In fact, that can be the first question:
1. Who does that? Well the mans name is Aureliano Perez. He works on the farm of Noris Farms in Portland. The whole idea is they make fresh dairy products that they grow themselves and they put absolutely no chemicals or anything to grow their food. They basically know what the people of Portland want. Soon they started to attract customers who wanted this freshness. This is found in the main story.
2. Why should I care? Well, because nobody delivers milk anymore. They want to keep the freshness in Portland, and what better place to do this other then Portland? This is also in the main page.

1. I would say it's soft news. It's written in a narrative style and it sort of narrates every person in the story. It's not as simple as a hard news piece would be. You can't really put this article in terms of the most important details first because there are so many sides to this story. At the same time it's news that has been building up for awhile, it didn't just happen.
2. I didn't see a clear bias, it seemed to catch the point of view on both sides. At some point I couldn't tell what side the writer was leaning towards, if in fact they were trying to lean in any direction. They might have just fallen over and forgot what they were writing about in the first place.

blog three NPR WOOT

I listened to the interview on Fresh Air on NPR. The interview is with Journalist Pete Hamil talk about the Robert F. Kennedy assassination. The two of them seemed to get along pretty well back in their day.

1. The quotes used for the most part are just Pete talking about his experiences, with the vietnam war and encouraging Rob Kennedy to run for president. He also read a letter he wrote to Kennedy, and he sounded a little emotional.
2. Pete was very descriptive. He described everything as if it happened yesterday.

Web Logs:

This news Article is definitely news worthy. It's about Obama getting the democratic nomination. You know what that means right? He's pretty much already won the election. It doesn't matter if i'm going to vote for McCain. I'm willing to bet that Obama takes the election. It does mention Hilary is interested in being Vice President, would to me, sounds like it might make one bad ass team. But hey, thats why me. It's news worthy because:

1. It ran today, June 4 2008
2. It ran in the Columbian
3. It ran on the front page.

Huzzah!
